A623 Peak Forest

Region:

East Midlands

The A623 near Peak Forest sits right in the heart of the Peak District National Park and is around 15–20 minutes from Buxton, running between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell through open moorland and rolling countryside.

This stretch of road is regularly ridden by those travelling through the Peak District, with wide views across the surrounding hills and a landscape that feels distinctly different to the lower roads nearby. It’s a popular route to include when riding between Buxton, Bakewell and the central Peak District, especially for those planning a longer ride through the area.

This is a roadside shoot, and we photograph from a photo point along the A623 near Peak Forest. We return to this location a few times throughout the year, with each shoot offering slightly different light and conditions depending on the season and weather.

After each shoot, photos are uploaded to the BikerPics website where you can browse your images and order high-quality digital downloads and prints directly online.

As with all our roadside shoots, we ask riders to enjoy the road responsibly.
