A339 Basingstoke
Region:
South East
The A339 near Basingstoke runs through open Hampshire countryside to the south of the town, with our photo point located just outside Basingstoke near Cliddesden, away from the busier routes in and out of the centre.
This stretch of the A339 is commonly used by riders travelling to and from Basingstoke, Alton and the surrounding villages, often linking countryside roads with longer routes through Hampshire. The setting is rural and relatively quiet, making it a natural part of a broader ride rather than a destination in itself.
BikerPics returns to this section of the A339 several times throughout the year, photographing riders in motion as they pass a fixed photo point along the road. The open surroundings and steady flow make it easy for riders to do multiple passes if they wish to build a varied gallery.
Images are uploaded to our website after the shoot, where you can view your gallery and order high-quality digital downloads and prints.
We ask all riders to keep it sensible at all times. No wheelies, knee-downs or risky riding.
