A259 Rye
Region:
South East
The A259 near Rye is a well-known coastal route, regularly ridden by motorcyclists travelling to and from Folkestone, Ashford and Hastings. Our photo point is located just east of Rye on the A259, around 8 minutes from the town in the Folkestone direction, placing it naturally on this popular south coast road.
This stretch of the A259 is commonly used by riders heading along the coast towards Hastings, as well as those travelling to and from Folkestone and Ashford as part of a longer coastal ride. Just 10 minutes away is the scenic Camber Sands, making this area a popular stop-off point for riders combining coastal roads with nearby destinations.
Regularly photographed by BikerPics, we return to this location throughout the year, capturing riders in motion from a dedicated photo point. This roadside motorcycle photo shoot location lends itself to clean, natural images, with many riders choosing to make multiple passes to get a range of shots.
Photos are uploaded to our online gallery shortly after the shoot, where you can view and purchase high-resolution images.
We ask all riders to keep it sensible at all times. No wheelies, knee-downs or risky riding
