A6024 Holme Moss

Region:

Yorkshire and the Humber

The A6024 at Holme Moss runs high across the Pennines between West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester and sits around 15–20 minutes from Holmfirth, cutting through open moorland with long, uninterrupted views in every direction.

This road is well known among riders travelling between Holmfirth, Glossop and the surrounding villages, and it’s often included as part of a longer ride across the Peaks and Pennines. With the elevation and open landscape, conditions can change quickly, which makes every visit feel slightly different.

This is a roadside shoot, and we photograph from a photo point near Holme Moss summit. We return to this location several times throughout the year, with each shoot offering different light, weather and scenery depending on the conditions on the day.

After each shoot, photos are uploaded to the BikerPics website where you can view your images and order high-quality digital downloads and prints directly online.

As with all our roadside shoots, we ask riders to enjoy the road responsibly.
