A161 Crowle Scunthorpe

Region:

Yorkshire and the Humber

The A161 at Crowle, near Scunthorpe, is a well-known stretch of road for riders travelling through northern Lincolnshire. Sitting just outside Crowle and within easy reach of Scunthorpe, this route offers a mix of open straights and gentle bends that suit a relaxed, flowing ride through flat countryside.

It’s a regular route for motorcyclists heading between Scunthorpe, Goole, Epworth and the surrounding villages, making it a popular choice for casual rides and longer loops alike. A short distance from the road is Rustik Kitchen, a well-liked stop for riders looking to grab food and a coffee before or after their ride.

Regularly photographed by BikerPics, we return to this location multiple times throughout the year, using a dedicated roadside photo point to capture riders in motion. The open nature of the A161 makes it ideal for clean, uncluttered motorcycle photography, and many riders choose to do multiple passes to build up a variety of images.

Photos are uploaded to our website shortly after each shoot, where you can view your images and order high-quality digital downloads and prints directly from the online gallery.

As always, we ask all riders to keep it sensible at all times.
No wheelies, knee-downs or risky riding.
