A338 Marlborough

Region:

South West

The A338 near Marlborough runs through the North Wessex Downs National Landscape and sits around 10–15 minutes from Marlborough town centre, making it a popular stretch of road for riders travelling through Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

This section of the A338 is a familiar route for those riding between Marlborough, Tidworth and the surrounding villages, with open countryside and long views that work well as a backdrop for photography. Just a few minutes down the road is Choppers Café, a well-known stop with riders and often used as a break before heading back out for another run along the A338.

We photograph from a photo point along this stretch of road and return to the Marlborough location several times throughout the year. Each visit brings slightly different conditions and light, which means no two shoots are ever quite the same.

After each shoot, photos are uploaded to the BikerPics website where you can view your images and order high-quality digital downloads and prints directly online.

This is a roadside shoot, and we ask all riders to enjoy the road responsibly.
